Radiation Oncology Services

Radiation oncology services can also be provided at the Bennett Cancer Center for those patients who may require radiation treatment. Conveniently located on the ground floor of the cancer center, the Radiation Oncology Department is staffed by the area's leading radiation oncologists, a specially trained nurse, radiation therapists, medical physicists and a medical dosimetrist.

Treatment

The Center utilizes state-of-the-art technology to maximize our ability to treat the cancer and minimize the damage to healthy surrounding tissue. Treatment is typically comprised of a consultation, simulation setup, computerized treatment planning and the treatment itself.

Consultation & Second Opinion Services

Women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer at another institution may want a comprehensive evaluation of their treatment options. The hospital's team of breast surgeons, radiologists and pathologists, in cooperation with medical and radiation oncologists at the Bennett Cancer Center, is available to help identify and prioritize your choices.
